So what do you suppose is featured on the cover artwork for their latest All Beauty Must Die album? Yes .. a skull! Quite an appropriate second post for this new dark side of me blog!
I must confess I had to delete 3 songs from my playlist because the lyrics were too shocking for me, but as for the rest of the album, I'm really, really liking it. I cannot pick a favourite song...perhaps 'Turn the World Around'? Or 'The Eyes Of A Stranger'? It's hard to choose. Surprisingly, one of the songs almost made me cry it was so beautiful and so tragically sad at the same time. Listen to "How Can Something So Good Hurt So Bad" and see if you feel the same.
"How can something so good hurt so bad?
How can a smile make your soul feel so sad?
How come my heart's crying tears of red?
How can the best thing in life you ever had hurt so bad?"
This song inspired me to make this mini wall hanging on an old CDRoM.
I used a digital stamp I simply HAD to buy from Delicious Doodles after Teri featured it on her fabulous card for the Skull Appreciation Day Hop. Find it at http://deliciousdarknessbyteri.blogspot.com/2011/06/weyhey-its-skully-day.html
I do need to practice more on the blending of colours I did on the rose, but all in all, it's not bad. SO that's all for now, I'm off to find the perfect little spot to hang my latest craft project.... but I shall return another day :)
And just to finish, here's another Krypteria songvid I like Victoriam Speramus translated from Latin as "We hope for victory" Enjoy!
